Twisted Tales

EspaƱol

Card 75 of 82

Misread

A woman misread something and never saw another person again.

Solution: The woman was a scientist working in a laboratory. She accidentally misread a bottle's label before adding the chemical to another. The mixture exploded and blinded her permanently, so she could never see another person, or anything at all, again.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
