A Flat Tire

Four students arrived late to a lecture and explained to the professor that they had had a flat tire. The clever professor quickly proved to the rest of the audience that the latecomers were lying. How?

Solution: The professor took the four latecomers to separate rooms and asked each of them which of the car's tires was the flat one. Of course, they all gave different answers.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
