Unsolved Crime

When Liz was about to find out who killed Mario, she fell asleep. When she woke up she realized she could no longer find out.

Solution: Liz was reading a novel on the beach. The main character, Mario, had been killed and she was about to learn who the murderer was. Before she found out, she fell asleep with the book lying in the sand. When she woke up, the tide had risen and washed the book away.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
