Card 48 of 82

Gone with the Wind

If the wind hadn't blown so strongly that night, Angela would still be alive.

Solution: As it was windy, Angela went to a field to fly her kite. At twilight she couldn't see the nearby power line tower. When her kite got tangled in the cables and she tried to free it, she was electrocuted.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
