Card 34 of 82

A Matter of Color

He died because he mixed up the colors.

Solution: In Thailand, when a snake bites you, the doctor has to identify the snake's species to choose the right antidote. Tourists usually can't identify it, so the doctor asks what color the snake was and uses that to work out the species. The man was colorblind, so he received the wrong antidote.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
