The Accident

A driver causes a serious accident by crashing into a motorbike while turning at a crossroad. When the police arrive, another man is arrested. The one who was driving is taken home.

Solution: The driver was taking his driving test and his instructor wrongly told him to turn into a one-way street. The police held the instructor responsible, took him to the station, and took the student, who was having a panic attack, home.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
