Not Now...!

A woman is at home, sad, watching the street through her window. Soon after, she jumps out of it. A second later the phone rings, and she regrets having jumped.

Solution: After a nuclear catastrophe, the woman thought she was the only person left alive and decided to end her life. When the phone rang she realized she was not alone, but it was too late.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
