Death: Delayed

Helen never thought that her decision to travel by plane would save her life.

Solution: A few days earlier Helen had been operated on. Before boarding, she had to go through the metal detector, which kept beeping even though she had removed everything metal she was wearing. An X-ray revealed that the doctors had left a scalpel inside her body. If Helen had not found out in time, she would certainly have died.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
