Jack and Judy Are Dead

Jack and Judy were lying dead on the floor. There was a puddle of water and broken glass around them. How did they die?

Solution: Jack and Judy were two goldfish in a small aquarium on a shelf. One afternoon a cat sneaked in through the window and knocked the aquarium off the shelf, and it broke on the floor.
How to play

Twisted Tales is a game of lateral thinking. Each card is a strange, usually macabre situation, and your group has to work out what really happened.

  1. Pick one player as the Game Master (the Narrator). Only the Game Master looks at the screen.
  2. The Game Master reads the prompt on the card out loud, then privately reads the solution using "Show solution".
  3. Everyone else asks questions to piece together the story.
  4. The Game Master may only answer "Yes", "No" or "Irrelevant" (when the question is a dead end).
  5. Keep asking and discussing theories until someone reconstructs the key events. Then the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.
  6. Use "Next" and "Back" to move between cards. You always start from the prompt.
